I teach Tai Chi with a great deal of love and enthusiasm for both Tai Chi and the students of the art. I had the good fortune to stumble on a Tai Chi class 32 years ago, since then i have studied it steadily. My other passions are teaching people to listen to one another, and to listen to them myself as a psychotherapist. I like learning Kung Fu and gardening and just being outside. I know that there is no limit to what we can learn and how we can move.

From a management career in five star hotels in Europe and North America to the art of Tai Chi as a lifetime pursuit, there seems to be an insurmountable difference. However, Serge Cambou traded diplomas in Hotel Management, Sommellerie and English Language for the serenity, peace and inner strength that the study of Tai Chi brings to the serious practitioner. Student for 15 years of renowned Tai Chi Master Sigong John Oliver Peel, Serge has studied the Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine under fame teachers such as Mary Wu and Quanfu Zhou.
I have always been enthusiastic about combat arts since I was a child. My journey began in 1982 in Olympic wrestling in Greece. I learned the value of hard work and the spirit of competing. I was introduced to traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu in Canada where I learned patience and the importance of speed and strategy. I later decided to explore the 5 animal styles of Shaolin Kung Fu, setting my heart on becoming a professional teacher. My passion for the martial arts has led me to further my training with Sifu Siadatan who introduced me to the world of Tai Chi Chuan. As a life long Christian I feel that my journey into the martial arts is one of the gifts that I have been given in life. I believe that through teaching I have been placed on the long path to mastery. I am honored to be able to share what I have learned with who ever wants to learn.
